This is what I did last night.
During the Oscars, my son reminded me that I promised I would put together his train track that he got at Christmas. Begrudgingly, I did it, and found myself marveled at this incredible invention. Prepare to be amazed.

What we are to BE
There's a lot to discuss about Christianity, Biblical doctrines, black, white, and gray areas. These discussions, as long as they're done in a healthy, Christ-like way, can be very beneficial and thought-provoking. The Bible says that iron sharpens iron. It's great to read books, attend a local church, and be a part of the Christian faith. All of this is great, only if we are BEing the church. The church is to glorify God along with all of creation, and we are to BE the church. Some attend a church, meaning they go once or twice a week to a gathering, and they leave the church in the building, as they go live their real lives. The church is the single greatest force that God uses to love the world He created. When we leave the church at the building, we stop BEing what we were created to be. God is light, and we are to reflect and shine that light. II Corinthians 3:18 says, "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." I write all of this after being inspired by a great song that we will implement in our worship services soon. It's called "Shine" by Matt Redman. Check out the video below.

I Moved to Hawaii
I actually moved to Hawaii Ave. We finally were able to purchase a house. God really blessed us with the home. We are really enjoying the extra space and only one level. Jennifer is appreciating the one level with all the stuff she does around there everyday, not to mention having a new born. Josh is loving his new room, and Jade has no clue. She's just enjoying life right now. I am also a more efficient husband. I actually installed four light fixtures by myself, which if you know me well, is a miracle. I'm really excited to meet our neighbors all around. It seems to be a really friendly neighborhood so far. We are not getting internet for a while, so I won't be blogging as frequently, but throw something up as much as possible.
